The church membership secretary heads the ministry. To the glory of God, the church has continued to grow spiritually and numerically hence there is the need to ensure that welfare of church members is catered for adequately and this forms the core of the responsibility of the membership ministry. Apart from the aforementioned responsibility, the membership and visitation committee equally performs the following functions.
(a.) Recognizing the presence of new members during and after worship services and linking them up with other organizational heads for effective follow-up and continuity of spiritual development of such individual.
(b.) Arranging visitation to all categories of members in the church: the sick, the elderly and senior citizens, the incapacitated and others in similar categories.
(c.) Helping new members just coming to town to find suitable accommodation whenever such assistance is required.
(d) Getting members' bio-data documented in church directory.
(d.) Documenting the names of newly baptized members in order to refer them to the appropriate discipleship classes for further spiritual growth.
(f.) Documenting other important events in the church.
(g.) Rendering benevolence services to needy members of the church.
(f.) Engaging in other assignments that are deemed necessary for the growth of the church and those assigned by the church pastor.
