A sum of N10,000:00 was realized and was entrusted into the care of Nigerian Baptist Convention. It was on record that Union Baptist Church is the first to do such endowment in the entire Baptist Convention family then.

The 40th year anniversary of the church took place on 28th October to 2nd November, 1996. During the week long programme, series of activities were undertaken. The grand finale of the activities took place on Saturday November 2nd, 1996 with Mr. Gbenga Adediwura as the Chairman and Rev. I.A. Ojo (the then Conference Chairman) as the anniversary preacher. Families of the founding members were honoured and prayed for. Coconut trees were planted to mark the anniversary.

Due to inadequacy of space and the need to accommodate all worshippers in a befitting and spacious auditorium, the church laid the foundation stone for the construction of an ultra modern auditorium on 20th June 1994. The foundation laying ceremony was done when Late Pa Dn. I.F. Adediran was the leader of the church. To the glory of God, the auditorium, which is almost completed, is already in use.

During the tenure of Late Pa Dn. I.F. Adediran, a comprehensive church constitution was drafted and adopted. However, with the passage of time and changing circumstances, it became imperative that the constitution be reviewed. In view of this, Rev. Dr. E.O. Kehinde and the church council set up Fagbamila led Committee to review the constitution. After a thorough study and discussion on the reviewed constitution, it was adopted during the church business meeting of Thursday 6th of August, 2006.
